The AI Revolution and the 21st Century Athlete
From that first day, in the 1980s, when Bill James presented his vision of “Moneyball” to the world, the idea of “Sports Analytics” was born. They called it Sabermetrics in those days and that opened the door to Fantasy Baseball and Football. Then around that time, the LA Dodgers team doctor fixed up Tommy John’s elbow and they called it Tommy John Surgery. Technology was quickly invading the world of Sports. Sports teams developed “Video Analytics Departments” to study every nuance of “Sport.” And now, Artificial Intelligence is being applied to and intensifying every aspect of the game, from Sports Performance to Sports Medicine to Sports Media and finally to the Smartphone, Xbox, TV or ChatAI that we engage daily. We are all participants in the age of “The 21st Century Athlete.”

Sports Leadership & Investment:
The Impact and Power of Technology – Teams – Media - Visionaries
Building a “Sports Franchise” is more than creating a competitive team. It is the “Creation and Development of an Institution.” A “Sports Franchise” more closely resembles a “Hollywood Studio” or “TV Broadcast Network” of yesteryear. It is a “Visionary Brand” that binds a city, a region, a massive community of families together into a “Strategic Vision” that starts with the Athletes and Coaching Staff and from there enters the realm of Stadium/Arena and Entertainment Technologies, Traditional & Social Media, Healthcare for Athletes and Fans and ultimately the embrace of the future, including wellness and technology such as AI Artificial Intelligence.
Track II:
The AI Device & Experience, “It’s Crazy Great:” Phone – Gaming – Social & Search - Apps - Live Arena
Sports fans, live on the front lines of high tech, from smartphones and social media to gaming consoles, personal performance technology to “ArenaTech” and Sports Betting. It’s all about “Love of the Game” and a “Lifestyle of Sport.” And with each “Tech Upgrade,” it is “Sports Media” on the front-lines of innovative programming. Sports media drives technology innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is about to take Sports and its “Fan Base” to entirely new level of intensity and excitement.
10:30 am - Noon: Morning Workshop
The Analytics Evaluator, Part I: Franchise Strategies: Drafting – Team Building – In-Game Strategies - Baseball, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Hockey
The Analytics Evaluator” is our “Conference-Long” approach to taking a “Deep Dive” into the significance and industry-wide understanding of the importance and implications of “Data and Analytics.” In this our “Opening Analytics Workshop,” we will break down strategies in “Team-Building,” “Organizational Strategies,” from Scouting and Drafting, Minor League and even “Position Based” construction and then finally to the ultimate professional level. While a “Sports Family” has always been developed as a sophisticated “Strategic Understanding,” among long-time veterans of the profession, in today’s world, much of that strategy is now based on “Layers Upon Layers of Data.” We live in a completely new and every changing world.

The Nike Visionary SuperSession:
Design - Technology - Analytics - StarPower - Sponsorships - Video - Social Media
Some companies are leaders and some companies are legendary. It is difficult to remember to time in Sports & Performance Sports before Nike. It is not exaggeration to say that Nike “Established the Era” of Performance Sports as a Lifestyle. As the USA grew from a nation of 200 to 350 Million, it is the Nike brand which provided the vision of what an “Active Member of the Culture;” what “An Engaged Member of the Global Culture” would strive to become. Nike represents all aspects of “Global Citizenship,” health and wellness, participation and achievement and progress into the future.

Or are they checking out how his curveball is breaking out of the strikezone. Our two guest superstars are known to be the best in analytic analysis, opponent breakdown as well as being famous gym rats trying to make themselves smarter and stronger each day. Noon – 1:45 pm – The Luncheon
The 21 Century Superstars of Sports
Honoring the Greatest in Sports Doctors and Athletes
Honoring Famous Sports Surgeons and Famous Athletes (Veterans of Superstar Surgery)
The greatest fear of a sports fan is the moment one of their heroes goes down, taking a hit, falling to the boards, in what we have come to recognize as a possible ACL, or falling off the mound seeing that arm at the wrong angle. In the 1970s, the late Dr. Frank Jobe invented Tommy John Surgery and around the same time, similar surgeries were developed for the ACL and other phenomena. At this luncheon we will honor the Medical Teams and the Doctors who have saved the careers of our heroes, and we will also bring to the stage “Courageous Athletes” who have faced-down their injury and have made their way back to competition.
2:00 pm - 2:45 pm Eastern Time Zone
Track I:
Personalized AI & Sports Merch: Online Innovation - Technology Empowering Fans
What will NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL gear look like in an AI Merchandized Universe? Of course, all the sports leagues will have custom jerseys for each team and for each player. And as printing and website technology improves, so will the quality and inventiveness of personalization. However, as the power of AI is applied, designs could look more like Nike Swoosh visionary art or like the U2 Visions created for the Sphere in Las Vegas. Just this year a huge partnership was announced between Nike Virtual Studios and EA Sports to unlock new and unique branding creativity. And that is sure to unlock new kinds of opportunity. What about the "The Aaron Judge x Rafik Anadol Jersey 99.” That might just be around the corner.
Track II:
AI: Fan Engagement & 360 Experience: In-Stadium - Mobile - Games - Spatial/VR - Social Media
Now for the fun stuff. While the sporting event, the superstars and the rivalries may set the table, it’s only the beginning of the athletic feast. It is now time for the tech and the superfan’s imagination to kick in. It’s a whirlwind of sound and fury, from giant video billboards and in–stadium madness, the social media battles of Memes and Real-time madness, to in-home VR and Spatial space tripping, and finally to the betting and loving your favorite homies. It used to be “All About the Game,” which is “Kinda Still True,” but add to that, “It’s all about experiencing my favorite game inside a “Triple Threat” of “The Game, The Sport and The Technology,” not to mention the Nachos and Fries!
2:30 pm - 5 pm: The Afternoon Workshop
The Analytics Evaluator, Part II:

The sophisticated industry of “AI Enhanced Data Analysis” and human performance is at the core of our ability to develop Athletes, from weekend warriors to Professional and Olympic level competitors. The Power of Sports Influencers: Athletes & Unique Voices - Accelerating Brand Value Across Platforms - From Podcasts – YouTube - TV - Mobile - Social Networks
Sports is more than Live Events, it is a 24/7 phenomenon that exists on all video and audio platforms, TV and radio of course, but there are Podcasts and YouTube Sports Channels have viewership that rival or even surpass broadcast. And of course there are the “Social Networks.” A “Tweet” from a famous athlete that goes viral can dominate headline news for one or two news cycles. A DM on Instagram from an Athlete, for better or worse, can generate the same “Buzz” as a winning touchdown. The “Voice of Sports” may well outpace any other form of entertainment. Sports radio has been joined and even overtaken by Pods and YouTube. Welcome to the new world of “Influencer Sports.”
4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
Track I:
The AI Sports Co-Pilot -
The Personalized 24/7 Sports Einstein: Designed for Athletes, Coaches, Broadcasters and Fans
One day soon, a “Call Up to the Booth,” will not reference the broadcast booth or even an “Assistant Coach in the Sky,” but the “Coach’s Bose” may be directly connected to his AI, the Team’s Artificial Intelligent Agent, “A Massively Trained Data System,” the Team’s “Sports Einstein.” And a future “Sports Einstein” might also be available to Sports Broadcasters or “Sports Enthusiasts” in any and every category, from TV viewers to High School Coaches, from fantasy league players to College Athletes from Online Gamers to the “Regulars at the Track.” In time, AI for Sports will likely find as many demanding fans and professional applications as the Smartphone has apps.
Track II:
The AI Sports-Enabled Broadcast: Cameras, Sensors, Rotation, Replay, Prediction
The Booth, the sidelines and the Xs and Os will never be the same. A tennis match is no longer just tennis. The realtime game breakdown, the AI of tennis, the shot selection, the biomechanics of the backhand, ball striking and comparisons from game to game, the tennis player’s game can be completely dissected. Baseball pitcher spin rates, the swing trajectory and home run lift and arc are recorded and analyzed. We’re seeing baseball through cameras and sensors, through data and prediction. Is it better to view the game on multiple screens? You bet it is. Broadcast sports is not only a game to be enjoyed, it can also become an immersive world of experience, brain food and revelation.

The Arrival of Sports AI "Hello to Einstein:" Inside the Coach’s Headphones - The AI Real-time Play-Caller - Today's Assistant Coach
With AI, the football coach and play calling will never be the same. For the past 75 years, coaches have been pacing the sidelines, wearing their Bose, listening to the offensive or defensive coordinators from “Up in the Booth.” However, that may soon be a relic, a thing of the past. With years of massive data training, Large Language Models have been digesting every nuance of every football game played, every offensive and defensive plan, breakdown, analysis, plus hundreds of thousands of hours of real-time game video, and the Sports Robot, let’s call it the AI Terminator is now able to predict correctly, with an 80% rate of success. Is that possible? How will the realtime AI Sports Terminator impact college and pro sports? It’s a good question.

Athlete and Sports Podcasting: The Emerging Powers in Sports Media
Athlete and Sports Podcasting: The Emerging Powers in Sports Media
In Sports it’s all about the Podcast and for the Athlete, it’s the new home away from home. It’s the perfect DYI, brand building, social media companion, before game, after game, relaxing, enjoyable and low risk venture. Athletes in all sports are taking the plunge. For some, it’s a perfect fit, for others, a little shaky, but nothing ventured nothing gained. It starts on the field. In fact, for some it started in college; social media, DMs, having fun, building the brand and then come the “Pros,” entering the bigger market with bigger risks and bigger rewards. But for each athlete it’s different. It may be stepping out of your comfort zone and for others, the time of your life.
Track II:
Sports & Advertiser’s Roundtable: Building Elite Brands – Sports, Lifestyle and High-Performance Athletics
The sports industry represents the total package when it comes to the “Brand and Agency” investment challenge. Advertising is about massive reach and personalized consumer engagement. It’s about integrating and targeting the most sophisticated creative and analytical technologies into that process. And Sports provides a multitude of solutions. Football Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays represent massive audience reach. In-stadium represents a mixture of social media with the glitz of the In-Person experience. Podcasts and YouTube create tremendous opportunities for personalization and brand building. And each and all these platforms represent the cutting edge of technology innovation.
Noon – 1:45 am
The Superstars Luncheon
The Athlete as Innovator, Investor, Media & Brand: The Development of Generational Wealth
We believe that it is safe to say that the “Superstar Athlete” officially outranks all the OGs in the greater entertainment field. In the 1990s it’s would have been pretty-hard to outshine the “Supermodels.” And “Hollywood” has forever produced serious “Star Power.” Let’s face it, it’s a tough haul to out-work the Stones, Taylor Swift, Mariah, and Beyoncé for first place. But today, it’s all about the “Superstar Athletes.” No question these are serious “Global Names,” that are “Building Brands,” creating their own “Business and Media Empires” and laying the groundwork for “Generational Wealth.” Michael was just the beginning and now the future is in view.
2:00 pm – 2:45 pm
Track I:
The Sports Owner Roundtable: A Sports Visionary, Sports Fan & Investor in the City
It takes more than a “King’s Ransom” to head up a major sports franchise. While it may be one of the greatest “Jobs in the World,” the qualifications are complex, challenging and in the end may be one of the hardest jobs in the world. A great sports franchise not only represents the hopes and aspirations of a community, but it also serves as the symbol of health-care, education and job creation and a dedication to the future of an institution and the entire region and well-being of its fanbase. As a vision this is a tall order, but the modern-day “Team Owners” very much represent these values.
Track II:
The Modern Stadium/Arena - 10,000 Miles of Fiber – The Ultimate Consumer Experience = Technology, Brand and Innovation
They say that a $2 Billion Dollar “Ultimate Experience Dome” will give any home team at least 10 extra games in the win column and they may be right. It takes more than 10,000 miles of fiber to light up the 360 surround-arena video experience with 5G Broadband built into every square inch of the 20,000 seat basketball arena. And the same goes for a 60,000 seat football coliseum. “Dome on or Dome off,” these entertainment extravaganzas might even give the Las Vegas Sphere a run for its money. Or maybe “Sphere Technology” will be built into all next generation Sports Stadiums.
3:00 pm –3:45 pm
Track I:

With that massive level of “Starpower,” The Endeavor Story represents a triumphant vision of Technology, Entertainment, Sports and Lifestyle.
