Track II- GP4 - Game Power Mobile Gaming Experience - the Next Generation in Games, Devices and the Coming High Speed Delivery of Content As the portable games industry evolves into a global mobile gaming experience, the confluence of enhanced handsets and platforms, the increasing broadband delivery infrastructure and the acceptance on the part of the consumer, presents a mobile universe of untold possibilities. To this point, the games industry has only just begin to explore the cutting edge technologies in developing mobile games and device sophistication it is just emerging from its first generation. With that in mind, one can only imagine what the world of mobile games as a consumer experience will look like in two or three years. Mobile gaming and the portable device is the killer combination in the making and in this session, we begin to explore what that future world will look like. Jason Rubinstein, Senior Director, Entertainment, Mobile Devices business, Motorola, Inc.: Jason Rubinstein is responsible for bringing to market rich consumer experiences in mobile entertainment. He works with industry partners, developers and operators to deliver enhanced video and gaming solutions for the mobile device. Before joining Motorola, he served as General Manager for Ubi Soft Entertainment and was Vice President and General Manger of the music division at Riffage.com. Jason managed Intel's games and music industry market development and technology initiatives and held posts at Total Entertainment Network, DreamWorks Interactive and Sierra On-Line/The Imagination Network. Prior to that, he held production and marketing titles with CBS Records and Warner Music Group.
Tammy Robinson, Senior Director, Sega Mobile: Tammy Robinson, A mobile game industry veteran, Tammy Robinson is leading strategic sales and planning for SEGA Mobile, overseeing all distribution channels for the company, sales and planning initiatives, and expanding the reach of the companys mobile product portfolio to emerging platforms. Prior to joining Sega Mobile, Robinson spent 10 years at Verizon Wireless as Manager of Content Programming for Games, Wallpaper and Applications, where she established mobile games as a key category in Verizons downloadable content catalog. Robinson is a member of the Mobile Marketing Association and is a frequent speaker about mobile gaming.
Justin Radeka, Technology Evangelist, Media Processing Division, ARM: As Technology Evangelist for ARM, Justin Radeka works with cutting edge technology groups and content creation companiestop tier developers and publishers of video games, entertainment and productivityto develop the industry-wide strategies in bringing the latest mobile technologies to tomorrow's consumer. Prior to joining ARM, he served as Vice President of Developer Relations for Falanx Microsystems, a semiconductor company producing graphics acceleration processors. Justin has also served as Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of EVGA, a PC graphics board manufacturer, and as Systems Engineer and head of the gaming group at Hewlett Packard. Justin has spoken at events such as Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the Austin Games Conference and SIGGRAPH, and has published articles on the state of the mobile game industry. Most recently, he completed the first session as a juror for the International Mobile Games Awards (IMGA), an annual competition recognizing top mobile games worldwide. Justin holds a BA from the University of California.
