Tracy Geist, Senior Vice President, Market Development, OpenTV: Tracy is Senior Vice President, Market Development for OpenTV (OPTV - NASDAQ). Tracy oversees all aspects of OpenTV’s communications, product marketing, solutions marketing, partner management, training, and digital content production, working closely with the other members of senior management to identify and map strategic direction, product roadmap, and market development opportunities. A frequent speaker and panelist, Tracy speaks to a variety of topics on digital television, interactive television services and advanced advertising. Since starting with OpenTV in 2000, she has held various roles in Business Development, Market Development, and Partner Management. Tracy has more than 15 years of experience developing solutions, services, and products in media and technology for companies such as Oracle Corporation, nCUBE (now C-COR), ExtendMedia, and the Bulldog Group. Tracy is based in San Francisco, where she lives with her husband and two young daughters.






Lori H. Schwartz, Senior Vice President, Director of Emerging Media, Interpublic Emerging
Media Lab: As Senior Vice President and Director of the Interpublic Emerging Media Lab, a center for marketing innovation located in Los Angeles, Lori provides consultation and solution recommendations for the latest in broadband, wireless and emerging media for Interpublic’s global client roster. She also facilitates emerging media “upfronts” and exclusive partnerships with companies like Joost and TiVo for the company’s agencies and its clients. She has worked with a number of clients across a variety of categories, including Avery Dennison, Intel, Microsoft, Nestle and Sony. Prior to serving as Director of the Lab, Lori served as an interactive/new media producer at McCann Worldgroup, providing interactive expertise for the agency’s Los Angeles client base. She worked with clients to create original content solutions across multiple channels. Lori also facilitated partnerships with entertainment, sports and other content providers, and served as the agency representative on all issues pertaining to emerging media. An active member of the marketing and entertainment industries, Lori serves on the Board of Governors for the Producers Guild of America’s New Media Council, is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), is on the executive committee of the Interactive Peer Group for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and has led projects for the American Film Institute's Digital Content Lab. Lori participates in a number of advanced advertising standardizations groups and is a frequent industry speaker. When she is not working with clients, Lori can occasionally be found on stage in Hollywood performing with a number of improvisational comedy theaters.

Ed Forman, Executive Vice President, Products and Services, ActiveVideo Networks™, Ed
returned to ActiveVideo Networks in 2006 after having co-founded and served as CEO of Switched Media, a developer of solutions for mass customization of live video streams that merged with ActiveVideo Networks. With Active Video Networks, he has been responsible for shaping the company’s strategic direction in the cable, IPTV and consumer electronics spaces. In his previous engagement with ActiveVideo Networks, from 2001-04, Ed served as senior vice president of marketing and in an executive consulting capacity and was instrumental in launching the company’s HeadendWare product. Previously, Ed had been president and CEO of RealContax, Inc. and vice president of marketing and new ventures for enCommerce, Inc., an Entrust acquisition. From 1996-99, Ed was senior vice president of product development and marketing for Elemental Software, Inc., where he managed the development and launch of “Drumbeat,” the first drag-and-drop tool for active server pages. Ed was instrumental in the acquisition of Elemental Software by Macromedia, and in the sale of Network Innovations, Inc. to Apple Computer earlier in his career. Ed also helped to launch RadioMail, the first mobile wireless e-mail solution. Ed is a graduate of Harvard College, and earned his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He enjoys cycling, tennis, travel and cross country skiing. As a cyclist, he has been a mentor to Team in Training, an organization that helps individuals achieve personal goals while raising money to find cures for blood cancers.

Tara Walpert Levy, President, Visible World: Named by Advertising Age as one of the
top “Women to Watch in 2008,” Tara Walpert Levy has been driving rapid growth at Visible World since joining the company in 2005. As the president of Visible World, she has been responsible in growing the company’s partnerships with the country’s major cable service providers, television networks and advertising agencies. She has been instrumental in making Visible World’s intelliSpot® solution the leading advanced video advertising platform for television distributors, programmers, media buyers, advertising professionals and marketers. Prior to joining Visible World, Tara was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader of the Global Media & Entertainment and Sales & Marketing groups. She has also worked as an investment banker for Goldman Sachs and a consultant for The LEK Partnership. Tara began her career in print and online advertising sales and served on the Board of Directors of Let’s Go Publishing, Inc. Tara currently serves on the alumni advisory board of McKinsey & Company and is a member of the Young President’s Organization. Tara has been honored as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Technology” by Cable World magazine. She is a sought-after speaker on issues surrounding targeted TV advertising and the shifting video landscape by the media and industry conferences. She received a B.A. in economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Tara’s favorite television show is Brothers and Sisters.

Brian Murphy is executive vice president of branded entertainment at TBA Global. Brian's work in entertainment, music and marketing during the past 30 years has helped to shape and define branded entertainment as a mainstream marketing discipline. His creative vision and artistic expertise have culminated in exceptional live, televised and internet programming. Brian's portfolio encompasses innovative broadcast, new media and live events, including landmark programs such as; Rockfest, the largest ticketed rock event in the United States in 1997, the Goodwill Games Opening & Closing Ceremonies, Music In High Places, NBA All Star Weekend's A Tribute to Magic Johnson for the NBA and American Express, and MTV's long running Hard Rock Live music series. Prior to rejoining TBA Global in 2007, he was Founder and CEO of Fearless Entertainment. He also spent a decade as Executive Vice President/General Manager of Warner Custom Music, then formed the joint venture Warner/Avalon (which later became Warner/TBA) and served as its Managing Partner on behalf of Time Warner. While at Time Warner he co-authored the first joint divisional strategic marketing program with General Motors, Warner Bros. Films and Warner Music Group which was a precursor of how the field of Branded Entertainment would evolve.


Mark Pascarella, President & CEO, Gotuit Media Corp.: As one of Gotuit's founding investors, Mark has been a member of the company's Board of Directors since inception and joined Gotuit full-time in 2001. Under Pascarella's direction, Gotuit has pioneered video discovery / monetization and has become the leading provider of next-generation video products for multiple platforms including broadband, mobile, and cable. Before joining Gotuit, Pascarella teamed up with Sidney Topol, the former Chairman and CEO of Scientific-Atlanta (Cisco), to found The Topol Group, an early-stage investment firm. In addition to Gotuit, The Topol Group's investments include broadband router manufacturer RiverDelta Networks (Motorola), cable services provider Navic Networks, and VoIP switch maker Cedar Point Communications. From 1992 to 1997, Pascarella worked in Business Development at Procter & Gamble. He holds a BS in Management from Bucknell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.






Matthew Emans, VP of Product Management, Navic: leads Navic's product strategy. Matt
has been with Navic for the past seven years, and during this time he has been instrumental in leading the development and launch of Navic's industry leading iTV software and service solutions. Prior to joining Navic, Matt honed his skills providing product strategy analysis, systems architecture design, and program management at Product Genesis, Inc., a strategic product development, consulting firm spun out of the MIT Innovation Center. Matt received his SB in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Harvard College and has additional background in robotics for medicine and control systems. Matt holds a number of patents related to optical biopsy systems and advanced surgical instruments.










Lauren Cole, President, Cole Media: Ms. Cole is President of Cole Media, a company that helps clients set up and launch media-related businesses. Clients include companies launching cable and satellite channels, mobile content services, video-on-demand, and broadband content, both in the U.S. and internationally. Past and present clients of Cole Media include TV Guide, Control Room, Verizon Wireless, TV One (Radio One/Comcast), MediaFLO, Technicolor, Sony Pictures Entertainment, E! Entertainment, GSN, HBO Latin America, and Anthony Robbins Companies. Ms. Cole was previously Chief Operating Officer of PacketVideo Corporation, the first company with technology and applications to stream video over wireless devices. As COO, she oversaw all of the business activities of the company, both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining PacketVideo, Cole spent many years at Sony Pictures Entertainment in the International Television division where she was responsible for launching, making investments in, and supervising Sony’s cable channel investments in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia. She also headed up operations for Columbia TriStar International Television. Cole also worked in Warner Bros.’ Strategic Planning Dept, and at Bain and Company. She has a degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College and an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
