Jay Fausch is Senior Director of Marketing and Business Strategy for Alcatel-Lucent North America where he is responsible for driving the company's business development and strategic marketing initiatives in the cable MSO segment. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, he held key management positions at AT&T, Paradyne, Racal Data Communications and Westell Technologies. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Jay also coordinates key Alcatel-Lucent activities within key cable industry organizations, including CableLabs, CTAM, NCTA and SCTE. He is a well respected broadband industry veteran, and has served on the Board of Directors of the DSL Forum and Fiber to the Home Council. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jay is well versed in broadband service delivery and a frequent speaker at industry conferences.



J.D. Zeeman, Director, Digital Media, Global Communications Sector Services, IBM Global Servicesis: Zeeman is responsible for helping companies to exploit the exciting new technologies of digital media (i.e. audio, video, image). His focus is on telecommunications, media & entertainment and energy & utilities. His global work encompasses strategy, offering development, business development, and leading-edge engagement support. His expertise includes content services (e.g. IPTV, online games), wireless computing, and e-business on demand. Within content services, recent concentrations include service delivery platform enablement along with IT optimization and systems assurance. Zeeman has been with IBM Global Services for more than ten years. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Princeton University. He has authored white papers, including publication in two 2006 International Engineering Consortium (IEC) comprehensive reports – “Delivering on the Promise of IPTV” and “Achieving the Triple Play: Technologies and Business Models for Success.” Zeeman has served as a keynote and panel speaker at industry events including Digital Hollywood events, the Broadband and Triple Play Services Conference, Broadband World Forum, Consumer Electronics Show, Future Image Summit, IPTV World Forum, NAB, Parks Associates’ CONNECTIONS™ Conference, and TelcoTV.



Todd Hinders, SVP Business Development and Sales, ExtendMedia: Todd Hinders brings extensive experience in digital media software, syndication, distribution services, and digital asset management to his role as SVP Business Development and Sales for ExtendMedia. Prior to ExtendMedia Hinders was Vice-President of Sales & Business Development for Maven Networks. In this role he was responsible for bringing to market their first customer deployments including National Geographic, Sony Pictures, EMI Records, Pepsi, A&E, and Atom Films. Hinders also oversaw Maven's international expansion into Japan, Korea and China opening up reseller and direct customer relationships in each geography. Previously, Todd was senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Loudeye Corporation, where he led the market introduction and rapid growth of digital media and corporate communications products and services. Todd joined Loudeye from NeTpower, Inc., a Silicon Graphics spin-off, where he was group manager for the Digital Media System Group. In this role, Todd brought to market the first line of graphics workstations, encoding systems and video servers specifically designed for media streaming applications in the broadcast, media and entertainment industries. Todd holds a BSC degree in Behavioral Psychology from the University of the Pacific.



Brian Marin, chief executive officer, Retail Entertainment Design: With more than 15 years experience in the entertainment industry, Brian Marin brings to Retail Entertainment Design (RED) an astute understanding of retail environments, display and audio technologies. His expertise in all aspects of music, video, advertising, and sound system design and implementation guarantees the creation of highly customized and unparalleled solutions to meet the needs of clientele. Previously an executive with DMX MUSIC and ScreenPlay, Inc., Brian received a BA in Communications from Washington State University, with an emphasis in media and advertising.







Stan Brovont, SVP Marketing & Business Development, ARRIS Group, Inc.: Stan Brovont has been with ARRIS since its inception in 1996, holding positions as Vice President of Marketing, Director of Marketing, Director of Business Development, and General Manager. From 1987 to 1995 Stan held several positions at Nortel Networks including Customer Service, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing. His last assignment was Director of Marketing, Broadband where he helped develop the joint venture strategy with ANTEC that led to the formation of ARRIS Interactive. Stan received a B.S. degree with highest honors in Business Administration and Finance from University of the Pacific and has a post-graduate certificate in Telecommunications Management from the University of Southern California Center for Telecommunications Management.

Jaime Fink, Vice President, Technology & Strategy, 2Wire, Inc.: Mr. Fink leads product and technology strategy for 2Wire’s gateway, management systems, and media product units, overseeing the strategic development of managed IP based products and services for the digital home. While overseeing the deployment of over 14 million managed residential gateways to date, he has also served as a leading industry visionary, defining the role of the residential gateway in end-to-end IPTV and VoIP architectures. Over the past 5 years he has also led 2Wire's industry standards efforts to drive key residential gateway requirements in the DSL Forum and HGI, and played a key role in developing the highly successful DSL Forum TR-069 CPE WAN Management Protocol.











John Reister, Chief IPTV Architect, BigBand Networks: John Reister has over 14 years of experience in broadband and telecommunications, serving as chief architect for IPTV of BigBand Networks, responsible for the strategic and technical direction of the company’s IPTV offerings. Prior to joining BigBand Networks, Mr. Reister was chief technology officer with leading DSL access platform vendor Copper Mountain Networks, where he was responsible for the technical vision and strategic direction. While there he drove technical product requirements from inception, developed a video distribution strategy, led regulatory strategy including serving on an FCC panel, and developed patent-pending technologies. Mr. Reister has also held positions at Bain & Company with a focus on telecommunications, and Sun Microsystems, Sunsoft division. Feisal Nanji, Sector Resident, Global Media & Entertainment Sector, Ernst & Young: Feisal has 20 years of experience in Information Technology markets, specifically in Software, Hardware, Semiconductors, and Information Delivery. He has conducted significant work in securing digital based content, including work in internet delivery, digital rights management, piracy and royalty management. He has also served as a subject matter specialist in technology audits for media clients. As Sector Resident Feisal currently spearheads thought leadership initiatives in Ernst & Young’s Global Media & Entertainment Center and organizes a regular forum for Chief Information Officers at New York based media companies. Prior to Ernst & Young, he was Vice President of Business Development at Primeon Inc, Feisal also has extensive experience in software development as Product Manager of Software at Berkeley Process Control, where he was responsible for product strategy. He has also served in the role of Director of Research at Devonshire Partners, as well as Director of Research at Skow Inc. where he was an investment analyst focusing on information technology. At Skow, Inc. Feisal was instrumental in helping launch Vermeer Technologies, creator of FrontPage software that was eventually purchased by Microsoft Corporation for inclusion into its Office suite. He was also a founding investor of Solbright, a vendor of internet advertising workflow delivery software. Feisal has a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
