All Video-All the Time: Next Generation in Media Technologies – Broadband and Mobile - Content & Advertising
As video reaches into all sectors of the media space, content, the technology, the devices, the infrastructure, the entire way that companies and groups, large and small approach their work will and are now altering. All Video – All The Time is not in the future, it is happening now. What had been a web news group is now a video production unit. What had been a print publication with a website becomes an indie television network. What had been a blog becomes a vlog. The consumer is expecting to see all-video all the time and all companies, big and small, from an in-house corporate communications team to a giant magazine conglomerate; from a school newspapaer to a TV network are going to have to think in terms of multi-platform video 24/7 if they wish to break through the crowd and serve their customer base. All-video all the time is a challenge but it may also be the most exciting hurdle the technology industry has created yet.

Gary Gannaway, President, CEO/Chairman, WorldNow: Throughout his career, WorldNow founder Gary Gannaway has demonstrated a unique ability to predict the landscape ahead. As the founder and CEO of Genesis Entertainment, Gannaway oversaw the production and distribution of such TV hit shows as Michael Landon's "Highway to Heaven" and "The Whoopi Goldberg Show." He founded Genesis before he was 30 and sold it to Ron Perelman before he was 40. Perelman went on to sell it to Rupert Murdoch for a sizable profit. Gannaway developed trail-blazing advertising and sponsorship models which are now industry standards. His innovations attracted sponsors new to television. Looking at TV in a non-linear way, Gary offered advertising and sponsorship opportunities that incorporated non-TV platforms long before anyone else was doing so. Genesis is the only TV company in history to launch each of the 17 pilots it created. In the 90's, Gannaway foresaw the consolidation in the TV syndication business as well as the potential influence of the Internet, and boldly launched WorldNow after the sale of Genesis. WorldNow has become the leading provider of Web publishing, streaming video and advertising solutions for local media Web sites. WorldNow's clientele includes major media powerhouses as ABC-TV, Cox, Gray, Landmark, Media General, Raycom, Scripps, The New York Times, Tribune and Young.
