Laura Lang, Chief Executive Officer, Digitas USA: As CEO, Laura leads the Digitas organization in the United States. Laura brings to the role 20 years of experience in brand management, corporate strategy, and strategic consulting. Prior to joining Digitas in 1999, Laura was president of Marketing Corporation of America, providing strategic consulting services to clients in the pharmaceutical, technology, entertainment, and financial services industry. Previously, she led the consulting practice at Yankelovich Clancy Shulman providing strategic marketing services to Fortune and Service 100 clients. Before becoming a consultant, Laura worked in strategic planning for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, as well as product management at Bristol Myers and the Quaker Oats Company. She serves on the advisory board of the Tufts University Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute and the Board of Directors of Benchmark Electronics. A summa cum laude graduate of Tufts University, Laura holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.

Andrew McLean, President, Chief Client Officer, Mediaedge:cia: Andrew McLean has had a varied career which as seen moves across various marketing areas and countries. He started as a journalist, moved to advertising sales and started in media agencies as a television buyer in the 1980s. He moved to Dublin to open and run a office for DMB&B before returning to the UK as a planner and group director on accounts like Burger King and 20th Century Fox and Procter & Gamble. By the early 1990s he had grown disillusioned with advertising agencies and was approached by The Walt Disney Company to manage their media investment in Europe. At various times during his five years at Disney, he was based in Paris, Tokyo, Los and London and was involved in projects as diverse as The Lion King and Armageddon and oversaw their media consolidation in 1994. In 1999, he was asked by Young and Rubicam to join their then fledgling media operation The Media Edge in New York. A year later, he oversaw its separation following the acquisition by WPP and was a key player in The Media Edge merger with CIA which produced Mediaedge:cia. As President, Chief Client Officer, his oversees all Mediaedge:cia's global clients whose collective annual spend is in excess of $5b. These clients include Accenture, ABB, Citibank, Chevron, Xerox, United Airlines, AT&T, Sony Ericsson, Chanel, Colgate, UIP and Jaguar. Specifically, he provides leadership for the international and domestic media directors working on these clients and ensures the most effective use of the network and media in pursuance of clients' international and local media strategies. In addition to this, he is charged with developing communications solutions to meet client’s needs and lead the company in the areas of client service and solutions. Andrew is a partner of WPP, the parent company of Mediaedge:cia, sits on several company boards, and is the President of the International Advertising Association in New York.

Keith Fox, President, BusinessWeek: Keith Fox was named president of BusinessWeek group, a leading global business media organization, in April 2007. As president, Mr. Fox is responsible for overseeing the BusinessWeek franchise, which includes the BusinessWeek magazine global edition, the award-winning website BusinessWeek.com, and the national TV program BusinessWeek TV. Previously, Mr. Fox was president of McGraw-Hill Professional, the premiere professional publisher of printed and digital products and services, since September 2004. Under Mr. Fox’s leadership, McGraw-Hill Professional capitalized on new opportunities, particularly in the area of online products and services, and is credited with repositioning, re-energizing, and substantially improving the unit’s performance. Mr. Fox first joined The McGraw-Hill Companies in 2000, as senior vice president of Marketing and Business Development for BusinessWeek. He has been recognized by the corporation for the key role he has played in its success. In particular, he was responsible for successfully launching new products and services, including BusinessWeek TV, the weekly syndicated personal finance program, and BusinessWeek Investor Education products. Under his leadership, BusinessWeek.com has become a leading website and an integral part of the BusinessWeek franchise. Prior to joining McGraw-Hill, Mr. Fox was vice president of New Media at Reader's Digest Association, where he launched Readers Digest Health with Web MD and ReadersDigest.com. Mr. Fox started his business career as a consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton in New York before moving on to Unilever as a brand manager where he launched many new products and line extensions. Mr. Fox holds a bachelor's degree in American history from Brown University and a M.B.A. in marketing from the Columbia Business School. Mr. Fox is on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Magazine Publisher’s Association.

David Morris, Chief Client Officer, CNET Networks, Inc.: Dave Morris, chief client officer at CNET Networks, is responsible for driving the revenue strategy for the company, including the management of partner accounts, network-wide advertising programs, and the Detroit auto market. In addition, Dave oversees a go-to-market sales strategy that supports the company’s revenue plan, as well as business operations and network product marketing. Dave joined CNET Networks in 2007 as senior vice president of Network Sales, where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s corporate sales accounts. A veteran of Time Inc., Morris has more than 20 years of marketing, sales, and publishing experience. Most recently Morris was president and publisher of Entertainment Weekly and EW.com, where he led the publication and Web site to record profits and audience numbers. Prior to Entertainment Weekly, Morris was publisher of Sports Illustrated. As Publisher, he also directed the advertising sales for the magazine’s bonus editorial sections (including SI Golf Plus), SI’s custom publishing arm, Sports Illustrated Presents, as well as its home on the Internet, SI.com. Before becoming a Time Inc. veteran, he was a sales representative for Parents magazine and a media planner at SSC&B (now Lowe Worldwide). Dave lives in Waccabuc, NY with his wife and three children.

Scott Sorokin is President of Carat, the fully-integrated, consumer-centric, media and marketing services agency he helped to redefine in 2007. As the former President of digital marketing agency Carat Fusion, Scott championed the firm’s merger with leading diversified media agency Carat USA. This new agency model melds on and offline media and marketing capabilities to help companies reach their business goals. Scott works to make sure Carat’s vision is realized – to seamlessly connect every touch point and media channel while activating a brand’s involvement in consumers’ lives. Carat provides holistic, integrated marketing and media solutions that are supported by data and led by consumer insight. Scott’s experience spans across all media channels. He distinguished himself as an executive creative director in both television and print advertising, creating numerous advertising and marketing solutions for a wide range of clients, such as Coca-Cola, Braun, Prudential, Gillette, Hasbro and IBM. He has received numerous industry accolades, including MediaPost’s OMMA Online All-Star Award, as well as honors from The One Show, Clio, Art Director’s Club, Communication Arts and Mobius. Scott is a devoted family man with one son. He lives in Westchester, NY and regularly enjoys turning people into Zombies on Facebook.

Jeff Berman is President of Sales and Marketing at MySpace, the world’s most popular social network. In this role, Berman oversees MySpace’s online marketing, content and programs, ad solutions, branded sales and the development of relationships with major advertising partners. Berman previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President of Marketing and Content, responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of marketing initiatives for popular MySpace franchises like Music, Film and Comedy, as well as MySpace’s Impact Channel, the community’s online hub for social and civic engagement. In 2007, Berman oversaw the launch of MySpaceTV, the company’s global video platform, where he developed partnerships with leading media companies and major sponsors including Prom Queen, a scripted serialized mystery produced by Michael Eisner’s studio Vuguru; Quarterlife, an online series created and owned by Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick; Roommates, an original scripted web series sponsored by Ford; and Special Delivery, a hilarious hidden-camera series sponsored by Cheetos. Jeff joined MySpace after running his own strategic, political consulting firm working with a range of non-profit, political, and private interests. From 2001-2005, he served as Chief Counsel to U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and Staff Director of the Subcommittee on Administrative Oversight and the Courts. Prior to working on Capitol Hill, Jeff was a public defender specializing in representing children charged in adult criminal courts. While in DC, he also served as an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center. A frequent commentator on politics, social issues, and media, Jeff has lectured at dozens of the nation’s leading universities and has made frequent appearances on television news outlets. Jeff received his J.D. from Yale Law School and graduated Connecticut College summa cum laude. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Melissa, a television producer, and their children.

Michael Kassan, Entertainment and Media Consultant: Michael E. Kassan is a internationally recognized leader in the area of media and entertainment. Mr. Kassan has acted as a development consultant presently to brands and companies including Home Depot, National Lampoon, Visible World, DIC Entertainment, Mindshare Worldwide, TV Guide, FBC (Fact Based Communications), Brandsense, Warner Home Entertainment, Revolution Studios, Entertainment Industry Foundation, Microsoft, Verizon, Constellation Ventures (Bear Stearns), Cerberus Capital Management and The Leverage Group, BNC, Cimarron Group. Previously, Mr. Kassan was the President/Chief Operating Officer and Vice-Chairman of Initiative Media Worldwide a division of The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG:NYSE), at the time, the largest and most diversified media management company in the world, with more than 75 offices in North America, Europe and Asia. In 1997, he was named one of the top media executives in America by Advertising Age magazine. Mr. Kassan joined Initiative Media Worldwide in 1994 and was instrumental in the sale of the company to IPG. While there, he oversaw the day-to-day operations in North America and was the architect of the firm’s international expansion and grew media billings from $1.5 billion to over $10 billion. Mr. Kassan, an attorney was counsel to the Los Angeles law firm of Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil & Shapiro. He had been President and Chief Operating Officer of International Video Entertainment (Artisan Entertainment). Mr. Kassan has acted as a director and advisor to many charitable and community organizations, including The Hollywood Radio and Television Society, and previously serving on The Commission on California State Government Organization and Economy. He also has been Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on the Entertainment Industry in California and in 1998 was elected to the Board of the American Advertising Federation. Mr. Kassan has served on the following Boards as Director: H.E.L.P Group, Big Brothers of Los Angeles, Stephen S. Wise Temple and Skirball Cultural Center.
