Mark Randall, Chief Strategist – Adobe Dynamic Media Division: As Chief Strategist for Adobe’s Dynamic Media Division, Mark Randall is responsible for conceptualizing and driving Adobe’s technology and product direction in the areas of film, video, asset management, and interactive media streaming. He joined Adobe Systems through the company’s acquisition of Serious Magic, Inc., where he served as Founder and President. Mark also founded and lead Play, Incorporated, a company well-known in the industry for its award-winning video capture, editing and playback solutions. Prior to Play, Mark served in senior management positions at NewTek, leading the company to a 1993 Emmy Award for Technical Achievement for the Video Toaster. He has a background in software engineering, and has worked with many of the leading post-production and film facilities in Los Angeles. Mark holds five U.S. patents, and was listed in Streaming Magazine’s "50 Most Influential People" issue. With passions for both technology and creativity, Mark continues to pursue innovative product strategy, design and development while he continues many personal and professional video production projects.

David Merkoski, Associate Creative Director, frog design: David Merkoski at frog design brings with him twelve years of experience designing successful digital products across a range of mediums including desktop software, television, embedded devices, web applications, websites, and installations. His work synchronizes user needs with business strategy through the creative direction and execution of visual, interactive and motion design. David focuses on emerging and disruptive technologies in order to provide strategic opportunities and innovative solutions for clients. He has designed and conceptualized user experiences for MTV Networks, CBS Corporation, NBC/Universal, ABC Networks, Microsoft, Motorola, Columbia University, OpenTV and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He has published and lectured on design throughout the interactive design community and has taught courses at NYU Interactive Telecommunications Program, NYU Center for Advanced Digital Arts and at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. David graduated with a B.F.A. from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Film and Television program.

Rolf Hartley is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Professional Products Group at Sonic Solutions, the leader in digital media software. As a 13 year veteran at Sonic, Mr. Hartley has served as Vice President of European Operations, National Sales Manager, and Product Manager for high definition audio products. In 2002, Mr. Hartley was appointed General Manager of Sonic’s worldwide professional business group which offers high-end content creators products and services such as Scenarist®, the world’s leading authoring system used to create billions of DVDs, and InterActual®, the interactive DVD technology approved by Hollywood and deployed on millions of award-winning, blockbuster DVDs. In his current role, Mr. Hartley founded the High Definition Authoring Alliance (HDAA) the first and only worldwide association dedicated to preparing authoring facilities for the launch of new high definition Blu-ray Disc (BD) and HD-DVD optical disc formats.

Ben Elowitz, Co-Founder and CEO, Wetpaint: Ben Elowitz is a passionate entrepreneur who is best known for his success as co-founder and vice president of Blue Nile, Inc., the company that is widely acknowledged as the first and most successful online luxury goods retail site. From 1999 to 2001, he oversaw the company's front-end operations, which included product management, technology, and creative services. Prior to Blue Nile, Ben was the director of business development at Fatbrain, an online bookstore that was acquired by Barnes & Noble in 2000. From 1996 to 1999, Ben ran product management, marketing programs, and business development. He drove Fatbrain's strategic partners and corporate bookstore programs, which were the cornerstones of the company's primarily business-to-business revenue line. Prior to his roles at Fatbrain.com and Blue Nile, Ben worked at the global business consulting firm Bain & Company. In his capacity as management consultant, he specialized in providing business strategies to the high-tech industry. In 2002, Ben consulted for eHarmony.com, a matchmaking web service for marriage-minded singles. While there, he overhauled the company's positioning and website to improve branding, messaging, and conversion. Before starting Wetpaint, Ben worked at Precor USA Inc., one of the country' s most successful fitness equipment brands. From 2002 to 2005, he helped Precor manage its transition to a customer-driven, growth-oriented company, directing product management, marketing, and new product development efforts for commercial equipment lines. Ben attended the University of California at Berkeley as a UC Regents Scholar, graduating in 1994 with a cum laude B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and a B.A. in Applied Mathematics.

Thomas Randolph, President, FrameFree® Technologies, Inc.: Mr. Randolph is a computer software and multimedia industry visionary with more than 20 years of information technology and IT management experience, including 15 years of developing and managing multimedia software development projects. With deep ties to the technology industry in Japan and US, he has served as special advisor to Fujitsu Limited (1987-1994) and NTT Data (1992-1994). While assisting Fujitsu on various PC, multimedia and Internet projects, Mr. Randolph was asked by Fujitsu to spearhead the development of the FM Towns Multimedia Personal Computer (world’s first multimedia PC system with CD-ROM) in Tokyo. During this time, Mr. Randolph was appointed the board member of Multimedia PC Council (MPC) and helped establish the multimedia hardware and software standards in the U.S., together with Creative Labs, Microsoft Corp. and Bill Gates (1989). During the FM-Towns project, Mr. Randolph and Fujitsu jointly published more than one hundred international multimedia software products in Japan. Most of these titles were the first multimedia software ever created, including SimCity, Ultima Online, Macromedia Director, Battle Chess and more. Using this intense experience in multimedia production, Mr. Randolph established Lanpro Localization Center Corp. and Interactive Artists, LLC in San Francisco to provide localization services and multimedia and interactive music production. In 1995, Mr. Randolph and Interactive Artists co-produced a groundbreaking interactive multimedia concert with Tomoyasu Hotei (a top Rock & Roll artist in Japan) with NTT as the main sponsor. Most of the team for this production was formally involved with the band Grateful Dead. The concert series was a massive hit in Japan and the video album "Cyber City Never Sleeps" remains in the history books as the world's first truly interactively controlled Rock & Roll concert. In 1996, Mr. Randolph was named president and chief executive officer of 7th Level Asia Pacific, Inc., where he opened an office in Tokyo for the distribution of games and educational titles. In 1999, he was named the Special Advisor to the Vice Chairman of Sega America to help launch the Dreamcast game console in the U.S. From 2001, Mr. Randolph focused most of his efforts in China, establishing high level contacts in the Chinese government to help China, Japan and the United States become better high tech partners. In 2002, Mr. Randolph was named CTO of Monolith Limited to help kick start the FrameFree project in Japan and China. In 2003, Mr. Randolph was named the Director of Delphi Holdings Limited with the mission to productize and introduce FrameFree to the global market. In 2004, he assembled a "digital imaging dream team" in San Francisco under FrameFree Technologies, Inc. and is now dedicating all of his time to help make FrameFree a global standard in the digital imaging market. He lives in Taipei and San Francisco.

David Dudas, co-founder, CTO, Vice President of Engineering, Eyespot Corp.: David Dudas, co-founder of Eyespot, serves as the CTO and vice president of engineering where he oversees new media applications and manages the company’s product development. Dudas was instrumental in developing the company’s core strategy as well as launching its website and online services in April 2006. Dudas is also actively involved in the company’s business development. Prior to founding Eyespot, Dudas served as the director of engineering at Vivendi-Univeral/MP3.com where he led the development of online products and services for the company’s media properties including Universal Studios, Universal Music Group, and yourmobile.com. Dudas has also held executive positions as Streamload and SIPphone. Dudas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University.



Dave Toole is the co-founder and CEO of Outhink Media, the developer of technologies and services that power Media 2.0, the major social networking phenomenon propelling individuals to create and produce Web-based media. In March, Outhink Media launched the first of its network affiliates, TowerPod, a podcasting property for Tower Records. Mr. Toole founded Outhink Media in 2001 to fuse his expertise in technology and business with his love of music and creative expression, as he is a serious garage band musician. Mr. Toole and Outhink Media have spent the last five years developing one of the fastest growing segments of the Internet - personal media production, podcasting and the development of right-cleared file sharing. Currently, Outhink Media’s network includes: TowerPod, OurMedia, 49 Media, MVP Performance, and SpinXpress. Prior to founding Outhink Media, Mr. Toole spent 30 years in the semiconductor industry. He was Chairman/CEO of GaSonics International (Nasdaq;GSNX), a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer that was acquired by Novellus Systems in 2001. During Mr. Toole’s tenure, GaSonics was recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the 90’s by Forbes and Fortune magazines, and one of the most profitable in its industry segment. During his leadership, shareholder value increased more than 10-fold. He spearheaded several product initiatives which lead the company to a global industry leadership position and led several acquisitions, highlighted by being one of the first American companies to purchase a Japanese semiconductor company. Prior to GaSonics, Mr. Toole held management positions at Advanced Micro Devices. Mr. Toole was first introduced to the ARPANET during his college years at the University of California Santa Barbara where he earned a degree in Business. Mr. Toole lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his family.

Robbie Vann-Adibé, Co-CEO, Method: Robbie is a serial entrepreneur who brings over 22 years in technology, start-ups, consulting and financial services in the US and Europe, to Method as Co-CEO, where he is responsible for sales and client facing activities at the firm. Robbie has over 22 years of experience in technology, start-ups, consulting and financial services in the US and Europe. Prior to Method, Robbie was the turnaround CEO of Ecast, a location based entertainment network. It was while at Ecast that he met with Chris Anderson in 2004, Editor of Wired magazine and shared his ideas and observations of how consumers interact with content when it becomes available in a digital format, that became the basis for a leading worldwide best selling business book – The Long Tail. Prior to this he was Co-CEO of Inspired Technology Group, an SMS mobile entertainment company based in London. The company has since evolved to become Inspired Broadcast Networks (http://www.inspiredbroadcast.net), an AIM listed company and Europe's Largest Networked Entertainment Provider. Prior to Inspired, Robbie was the co-founder, in April 1996, of Viant Inc., a web-services consultancy he helped build into an 850 person, $160M run rate, $2.2bn NASDAQ listed firm. Prior to this, Robbie held positions at Illustra, Oracle, and Seer Technologies. He began his career on Wall Street as a software developer building Trading and Settlement Systems for Morgan Stanley and First Boston.
