IPTV, Broadband and Mobile Commerce - Advertising & Monetizing Options and Relationships
Monetizing the technology. Understanding the opportunities that the technologies make possible is the process that must be addressed, experimented with and better understood. As hundreds of millions of consumers nationally come to rely on the full set of communication options – from Broadband, IPTV to mobile as their daily lifeline to the world, the value of the communication system as a commercial vehicle will ebb and flow in unimaginable ways. What will the services of the future be, who will participate in delivering those services and how will the revenue be both generated and shared in the process is a fascinating discussion. Much as the cable industry evolved into an expanded relationship with partners, the broadband, IPTV and mobile industries are entering and experimenting in a new world of revenue considerations. In this session, we will begin to explore how the new expanded technology, content and revenue based relationships are evolving.

Jack Philbin,
President of Vibes Media, is a mobile marketing pioneer and can provide expert insight on how mobile is revolutionizing advertising, marketing, and connecting brands with consumers. For years, brands have tried reaching consumers through one-way media, such as TV and radio, never knowing if the message was reaching the right target - or if consumers were paying attention and retaining the information. Mobile technology is revolutionizing broadcast, by allowing brands to target the right audience and interact in meaningful and interactive two-way conversations. The future of advertising is all about interaction. Jack can speak to how mobile technology can be used to add "consumer-brand interaction" to traditional forms of broadcast media, thus revolutionizing Television and Radio advertising.
