Richard Cardran, Senior Director, Broadband Product Management, TANDBERG Television: Richard Cardran is an inventor, creative director, designer and technology strategist, who was recently recognized in the October 2006 Hollywood Reporter/Producers Guild of America's year-end "Digital 50" outstanding media professionals list. Mr. Cardran has also been featured in Streaming Magazine as one of the "Fifty Most Influential People in Streaming." From a total of eight Emmy nominations, Mr. Cardran has garnered two Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Television" and "Outstanding Achievement in Advanced Media Technology" through his pioneering vision and efforts surrounding the "paradigm shift" in TV broadcasting to new and exciting IP strategies. Mr. Cardran co-founded and recently sold Zetools, Inc. a leading software and services company pioneering both software tools and strategy for broadband IPVOD, iTV, eTV and enterprise media publishing. The acquiring company was TANDBERG Television, part of the Ericsson group, a multinational television technology company. Mr. Cardran originally worked in New York as an ad-agency creative director. He then founded a film production company while producing and directing entertainment and commercials - winning a Clio, Mobius and the International Film and Video Festival's "Outstanding Creative Achievement" Award. Mr. Cardran moved to Los Angeles and founded and sold a successful postproduction facility and finally in 1995, he started Tableau Media, a full service web design firm that later became Zetools, Inc. As a senior consultant to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Mr. Cardran helped to conceive and execute the museums' digital master plan as well as implement leading-edge projects for Microsoft, Intel, AOL, Viacom, Disney, Universal McCann, Real Networks and Panasonic as well as MTV, TV Land, Bloomberg, ABC, HDnet, Capitol Records, IFILM, Comedy Central, and others. Richard is also a published writer and sought-after speaker for events by The American Film Institute, Microsoft, Kagan Research, Streaming Media, Inc. and others.

Robert Hayes is the Senior Vice President, General Manager, Digital Media for Showtime Networks Inc. In this position, Hayes is responsible for the company’s online, broadband, wireless and interactive television (ITV) initiatives including day-to-day leadership, business development, content and production. Showtime recently consolidated all of their digital media operations under Hayes, and in this role he has also inherited domestic electronic sell-through (EST, or selling content to such platforms as iTunes) as well as developing further revenue opportunities through digital platforms. Previously, Hayes served as Senior Vice President, New Media and Vice President of New Media for Showtime Networks Inc., positions he held since April 2001. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Business Development and was instrumental in the strategy and launch of Showtime’s digital multiplexes including SHOWTIME NEXT, SHOWTIME WOMEN and SHOWTIME FAMILYZONE. Hayes also served as Vice President, International Business Development, charged with assessing opportunities for SHOWTIME and other SNI brands in the international marketplace including launching and overseeing Showtime’s ventures in Spain and the Middle East. He joined the company as Director of International Business Development in 1995. Previously, Hayes worked at Home Box Office as Manager of Programming, based in Prague, Czech Republic, as well as Manager of International Business Development based in New York. Hayes has done post graduate studies at Columbia University in Emerging Technologies and has received his M.B.A. in International Business from American University in Washington, D.C. He works in the company's New York headquarters.

Toffer Winslow, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Choicestream: Toffer Winslow is responsible for the sales and marketing organizations as ChoiceStream continues to meet the demand for personalization products. Prior to joining ChoiceStream, Toffer was the Vice President of Product Management and Product Marketing at RSA, The Security Division of EMC. Before joining RSA, Toffer led product management, marketing and business development for the largest business unit of Empirix, and was also vice president of marketing at a pioneering Java development platform start-up. He is a graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration and the University of British Columbia.











Evan Young, Director of Broadband Services, TiVo: Evan Young is Director of Broadband Services at TiVo Inc., where he is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of broadband applications, content, and services. He has extensive experience in broadcast, broadband, and consumer services, and has edited books on digital video recording and digital home audio recording and production. Evan has an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from Harvard University. While at Stanford, Evan was the founder of “The Future of Entertainment”, an annual business and technology conference about media convergence.












Charlie Oppenheimer, CEO, Digital Fountain, Inc.: Charlie is a senior business executive with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in networking and communications. He was formerly chief executive officer at Aptiva (acquired by Yahoo!); chief operating officer at Oneworld Systems Inc.; and senior vice president and general manager, products division, at Global Village Communication. While at Oneworld Systems, Charlie conceptualized and developed a unique new wide area networking product family providing integrated access devices. Charlie was also at Apple Computer from 1984 to 1993, where he ran the Macintosh product marketing group. Later at Apple, Charlie ran the system software product marketing group, where he launched System 7 and created a new software business selling OS, utilities, and add-ons. Charlie holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Computer Science from Union College in Schenectady, NY.







Jeffrey A. Dachis, CEO & Senior Partner at Bond Art and Science: Jeff is the CEO and a Senior Partner at Bond Art and Science: Bond Art & Science is an interaction design firm that specializes in cross platform information systems. Bond's strategy, design and technology capabilities focus on simplifying complex interactions. Bond was founded in 2006 by five veterans of the digital interactive industry. Bond is made up of colleagues from Razorfish, with deep expertise in web strategy, technology, interaction design, visual design, and systems development. We've honed our skills over more than 15 years and hundreds of assignments. We've managed and participated in teams that designed the first corporate intranet, the first online banking application, the largest online trading service, the first multi-platform unified messaging system, and many others. Bond's experience gives us unique insights and instincts about strategies and designs for the ever-evolving digital landscape. We are passionate about helping our customers realize the value of digital technology. Jeff is a seasoned international public company CEO, Director, and entrepreneur with over 15 years professional experience managing global companies, notably founding Razorfish, Inc. the worlds largest interactive services firm: Jeff's background includes strategic finance, sales and marketing, and operations experience; founding, growing, leading and managing Razorfish, Inc., a publicly traded Professional Services consultancy. Jeff developed from instantiation: processes, methodologies, and systems for delivering global professional services across varying practice types and geographies while driving growth through corporate finance, and M&A through detailed knowledge of; technology trends, corporate venturing, SEC regulations, GAAP Public accounting and legal environments resulting in the delivering of award winning technology design services engagements to a Fortune 100 client base leading to 23 consecutive quarters of revenue and profit growth, the companies’ IPO, and exploding market capitalization to over $5B. Jeff's background also includes founding an award winning diversified media/entertainment company, Razorfish Studios, producing digital, film, television, magazines, books, and recorded audio products. Experienced in every aspect of media production and distribution across platforms in addition to knowledge of electronic commerce, electronic transaction processing, and digital financial services. Jeff has served on public company boards as both Chairman and Director championing shareholder value.
